IPhotoArt, Inc. Files for Bankruptcy

ICONIC PHOTOGRAPH PUBLISHER
AND DISTRIBUTOR FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY

             November 1, 2008 - White Plains, New York -  IPhotoArt, Inc., a Nyack, New York based company filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy protection in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, White Plains Division (In re IphotoArt, Inc., Case No. 08-23603 ASH).  Prior to its bankruptcy filing IPhotoArt was a publisher and wholesale distributor of photographic prints, engaged in the reproduction and sale of iconic and historic photographs from the archives of TimeLife, National Geographic, the Associated Press, George Eastman House, and other sources.

             Assets of IPhotoArt scheduled in connection with the bankruptcy filing total $4,757,551 and liabilities total $2,656,146.59.  Starr & Starr, PLLC represents IPhotoArt in connection with liquidation of its assets in bankruptcy.  The chapter 7 trustee appointed to administer the bankruptcy estate is Jeffrey L. Sapir, Esq. of White Plains, New York.
