Our commercial collections and judgment enforcement practice assists businesses of all types and industries in collection of past-due receivables from corporate and business customers.  We have particular experience in the fashion and garment industry, marketing and public relations, import-export, and representation of distributors and resellers.

Our commercial and civil litigation experience includes banking and financial services, real estate, construction, shipping and transportation and disputes involving, among other things, breach of contract, guarantees, promissory notes, mortgages, and secured transactions.

We have experience in litigation involving the fresh fruit and vegetable industry and pursue cases in the United States District Court under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act of 1930, as amended (PACA) (7 U.S.C. §§ 499a et seq.) on behalf of unpaid commission merchants, brokers, dealers, importers and distributors of fresh fruits and vegetables.

We also have experience in representing creditors in state law insurance insolvency liquidation matters involving failed insurance companies. In addition, we have experience in representing creditors in stock brokerage and broker-dealer liquidations under the Securities Investor Protection Act of 1970 (SIPA) (15 U.S.C. §§ 78aaa et seq.) and presenting claims to the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (S.I.P.C.).
